Second Annual Haitian Family Outreach Campaign, by AMI Cargo Services now under way. With a little bit of time, about $10 and a lot of prayer you can bless a family in Haiti this Christmas, by sending them Christmas care, probably the only gift they will ever receive.

AMI Cargo working towards meeting the needs of The Little Orphanage and Haven of Jesus, located in Haiti has 50 displaced women and children living on a mountain. Their needs are simple and can be easily provided by looking around your own home and donating clothing / toiletry items/ medical supplies-antiseptic creams, aspirins/ibuprofen, bandaids and non-perishable food (oatmeal, rice, peanut butter, crackers...etc).

AMI Cargo partnered with Airlift Flyers Aviation LLC, a network of compassionate aviators who operate small air crafts that help the destitute beyond our shores.

Your small monetary contribution can help buy needed fuel in support of transporting these donations. Scheduled for distribution December 14, 2010.

I am reaching out for my son, Nathaniel, who is 3 years old and battling cancer. He has High Risk B-Cell Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and is still in the hospital. My wife and I have taken off of work to be at his bedside and current 24 hr care. But with our income losses and mounting bills we are reaching out to anyone who can help. If you can send a fuel card, grocery card, gift cards to help with medical supplies and co-pays, or you can write a check/ tax-deductible / to his cancer fund that has been set up. I am in need of some donations for school supplies (bookbags, pencils, pens, crayons, etc.) for the community in Chicago (Englewood area). In the past recent months and weeks, there have been an increase in violent activity and my church is not only praying for our youth, we are trying to find ways to encourage them to stay in school and away from trouble. We motivate them through various activities but in particular in the month of August, we hold a "Back to school rally" in which we play games with them, cook, and talk to them to let them know that it is okay to be smart and go to school all of the time, and to stay out of trouble all of the time. At the end of the rally, we distribute bookbags and school supplies for grades Kindergarten through College. Unfortunately, last year, we had such a huge turnout that we didn't have enough school supplies for those excited children and we had to turn them away. In addition, we didn't receive enough donations to fill the bags that we had to distribute. So, I am here to find the "Angels of the internet" to assist me and members of our youth council in donating new bookbags for girls and boys, school supplies, etc. in an effort to make this a success. This is not to give the workers of the community the glory or pat on the back. We see that there is a demand for encouraging our young people as we are living in a crazy time where children think gangs and drugs are the only way out to become successful. We want to give our young people a pat on the back and to tell them that "they are special""they are too good for gangs""they can become whatever they want to be despite of their living conditions.

I am a dedicated teacher is a VERY poor rural school district in southwest missouri.  It seems that I spend so much of my own money on supplies.  I am trying to figure out a way to purchase equipment to use in the classroom.  I use my own computer and want to expose my students to all of the wonderful information found on the internet.  Science changes and updates (pluto) everyday but textbooks (my class) are 12 years old.  No new ones in sight for a few more years.  I have asked companies for samples. I have researched buying from schools that are selling surplus equipment.  I need a digital projector, current texts and so much more.  I have researched grants, federal dollars, everthing!  Any suggestions on what to do?  I am exhausted! and thinking of a career change.

I would like to attend UNLV for a Buisness dagree and can't (I don't like the word can't it's like failure before you tried everything) so let's say I'm having trouble finding a way to get my dream started. this will require some help with tuition and books a computer most classes in my field of study suggest a laptop well I realy don't know what else to say. I would like to find grant money so that I may finish getting my degree for a BA in Accounting and to also obtain a BA in Business Management.  To have both of these degrees would benefit me and my family and my business.  The monies that I receive would allow me to pay for all of my education needs.  Such as books, supplies, fees, tution, living expenses and transportation.

My name is Kelly and I am 31 years old.  I live with my husband Kenny and our two little girls, ages 3 and 7 years old.  I have lived in Fairbanks for the past 6 years.  I worked full-time as a pharmacy technician until adequate daycare for our youngest daughter became unavailable.  That is what prompted me to search other avenues of interest in business.  I have provided in-home short-term and long-term daycare now for over a dozen different children since February of 2005. Ultimately, I love to teach arts and crafts.  I have found that all children are unique, open-minded sponges when it comes to learning and I really enjoy helping them to express themselves through arts and crafts!

  I am wanting to build a childcare preschool center in my community in an area where families do not have quality childcare center options.  I am hoping to have between 50 and 75 children from the community enrolled in my center.  I would like to build from the ground up so that the facility design is suitable for proper liscensing.  The size of facility I am looking to construct is estimated to cost close to $300,000.  This will include the land, facility, vehicles, equipment, and intial startup wages and supplies.  Childcare centers have quick start up and tend not to fail unless the owner operator makes poor decisions.  The community I live in is in need for good quality care for their children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

  I am writing this letter of request in regards to a small business grant.The business in question is a small,home based scent works specializing in hand dipped incense and perfumes. 

     I have already procured the necessary local licenses,but seem to be having trouble raising the capital necessary to get started.I curently work at a low paying job [1180.00 clear a month] and my wife is curently in school.It takes all I make to pay the bills.I am also curently trying to build credit and have several unpaid bills that take any slack cash that I may otherwise have.

I am enrolled to start online schooling at Western University on July 25, 2005 and am in search of assistance for various education and misc. expenses. I and 44 years old and finally am persuing a dream that has been only a thought since graduating High School. As the cost of books, computer, transportation and miscellaneous expenses will be a burden to me as I get started with this venture they will only be an obstacle and will not detour me. I am asking for information any Grants or Assistance that might be available to me.

I have been struggling in school since 1997, changing careers. I have picked nursing. I am now in the LVN program at austin community college in austin texas. I will be starting my last semester in fall or august 05-december 05.  I need help with bills, dedt, books, tution, uniform, supplies in general. Please help, i have worked since i graduated from high school. I work in the field i want to specialize in but don't make enough to live on. So i am in dedt up to my ears.
